Katherine Huey, CPNP, began her healthcare career as a Patient Care Specialist/Telemetry Technician at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and an EMT in Durham, NC and. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Cultural & Medical Anthropology from Duke University, where she excelled in collegiate softball her freshman year before medically retiring. She gained additional work experience as a Surgical Technician in oral and maxillofacial surgery prior to obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University. Katherine is board certified as a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and is an active member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
A native of Georgia, Katherine has long been dedicated to advancing the health and wellness of children in her community across all age groups. In her spare time, Katherine enjoys going to the beach with her black Labrador Retriever (Kaia), running, and traveling.
