Our care includes preventive service, diagnostics, therapy and promoting good health through both child and parenting practices. Our pediatrics doctors are all either board eligible or board certified. We retrain as necessary and needed, ensuring even our general practitioners are up to date on the latest techniques and procedures for infants and children. Lindsi McCrone, NP
Lindsi McCrone, CPNP grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. She attended The University of Akron for her undergrad and graduate studies.
Lindsi was a Registered Nurse at the Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio for four years. She continued her professional track and now serves the Coastal region of KidzCare as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
Lindsi is married and welcomed her first child in March 2018. She also shares her home with two Yorkshire terriers. In Lindsi’s free time she enjoys trying new restaurant venues, cooking, watching movies, going for long walks and traveling.
Lindsi enjoys taking care of all children but her favorite are from birth to school age.
Lindsi is a member of NAPNAP (National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners).
Sharon A. Burke, MD
Received her BS degree in Biology, pre-med from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She then received her Medical Degree (MD) with Honors from Ross University; Internship and Residency in Pediatrics at Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ. Post-doctorate Clinical and Research Fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson and St. Peter University Medical Centers New Brunswick, New Jersey. Four years as Associate Medical Director of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital in Newark, NJ. Twenty-five years as Medical Director of Sub-Acute Transitional Care Unit at Children's Specialized Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.
She designed the Specialized Care unit in the treatment of newborn opioid withdrawal, with research publications and National Recognition. She also developed specialty care with publications and state-wide recognition for children requiring long-term ventilation; hyperalimentation and spinal cord disease. She designed therapy programs for children with metabolic and neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum, Feeding disorders, Retinopathy. And she was the director for the largest post cardiac, liver and intestinal transplant program in the country. She provided medical care for children in the outpatient medical home and long-term care facility utilizing telemedicine. Dr. Burke comes to Kidzcare with tremendous clinical knowledge and expertise and a passion for all children, from newborn to young adult. In her words," children are my life and Kidzcare has allowed me to live in a beautiful community providing care for God's most precious among us."
She is President of the Brunswick Forest Women's Book Club which provide reading bags for the children of Kidzcare; she sings with the Wilmington Choral Society and lives happily with her husband John and their 90-pound rescue Labrador named Shadow.
