Welcome to KidzCare Pediatrics where you will find health care professionals dedicated to providing the highest quality medical care to our patients and families. We’ve had the privilege of providing pediatric care in NC since 2003 and now extending into Georgia as of 2017.
Named after American Revolutionary war soldier Cornelius Harnett, Harnett County was formed in 1855 from land given by Cumberland County. This county has a total area of 601 square miles. As of 2013, the estimated population was close to 125,000 with 28% of that being children under the age of 18. Almost 12% of this population is that of Hispanic descent. Our children need physician care that focuses specifically on pediatrics.
Formerly known as Edgewater Pediatrics, this facility has been serving the greater rural part of Harnett County since 2006. In July, 2014 Edgewater Pediatrics merged with KidzCare Pediatrics to become OUR 11th established practice. We are situated just next to the Cape Fear River. Our location is easily accessible to all communities within Harnett County to include Angier, Erwin, Coats, Dunn, Lillington and all unincorporated communities in between. KidzCare Pediatrics is also just a short drive from our surrounding counties of Lee, Cumberland, Johnston and Sampson. We have three beautifully decorated kid friendly rooms, as well as a very appealing waiting room and a separate triage room which helps us to move our patients around quickly. We have a bi-lingual staff that is happy to help meet the needs of the diverse population located in this area. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays our Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner is here to help you, as parents, meet the needs of your children whether they are sick, need ADHD follow-ups, asthma follow-ups, or a well check.
