Dr. Thomas Blackstone, Dr. Rajesh Solanki, Dr. Hoke Pollock, and Christina Hill, PA, have been serving the pediatric needs of New Hanover, Brunswick, and Pender Coastal Communities for over 22 years. Our providers treat their patients, their parents, and each other with the same care and concern that they show their own families. KidzCare of the Coastal Community strives for a lifelong partnership with children and the families who love them to help them thrive in their journey to adulthood.

Dr. Thomas Blackstone
Thomas Blackstone, MD, FAAP attended college and medical school at Ohio State University. He served as a naval flight surgeon stationed at Cherry Point Marine Corps Air Station from 1970 to 1972.
He went on to a pediatric residency at Columbus Children’s Hospital, serving as chief resident in 1975. Dr. Blackstone practiced thirteen years in Mansfield, Ohio, and four years in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, before making his home in Wilmington. His clinical interests include ADHD and infectious diseases.
Dr. Blackstone has served as Chair of Pediatrics at New New Hanover Regional Medical Center and has served on the boards of Wilmington Health Access for Teens, Coastal Physicians Alliance, and Cape Fear Hospital.
Tom lives in Wilmington with his wife Marilyn and has four children and four grandchildren. When not in his garden, Tom enjoys jogging, swimming, and biking. He and Marilyn have done missionary work in Haiti and the Dominican Republic and attend Port City Community Church.
Yvonne MacKillop, RPA-C
Yvonne is a registered Physician Assistant since 2010. She attended the undergraduate program at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York, with a Major in Biology. Then she went on to receive a Bachelor's in Physician Assistant Studies from Touro College School of Health Sciences in Bayshore, NY.
Yvonne has worked in Long Island NY, and Sanford, NC, before moving to Wilmington. Her experience is in Family Practice Medicine, Women's health, and Pediatrics.
Yvonne joined KidzCare Pediatrics in February 2016 and is thrilled to be specializing in Pediatrics. She is so excited to be working alongside such experienced and caring Physicians. Her interests are active in pediatric preventative medicine, breastfeeding, pediatric Gynecology, and the care of our Foster Children.
Yvonne lives in Wilmington with her husband, who is also a Physician Assistant in town. They have two children together and two cats. Her hobbies include spending time with family, friends, gardening, and healthy living.
Lindsi McCrone, NP
Lindsi McCrone, NP, grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. She is an avid Cleveland sports enthusiast. Lindsi attended The University of Akron for her undergrad and graduate studies.
Lindsi was a Registered Nurse at the Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, for four years. She continued her professional track and now serves the Coastal region of KidzCare as a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
Lindsi is married and shares her home with her husband and animal family member/companion, a “fierce” 4lb Yorkie. In Lindsi’s free time, she enjoys trying new restaurant venues, cooking, watching movies, going for long walks, and traveling.
Lindsi is a member of NAPNAP (National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners).
