According to the National Survey of Children’s Health (NSCH), 9.3% of children belonging to minorities face discrimination in acquiring complete medical care in the States.
Quality healthcare is one basic right everyone should be privy to and not be subjected to discrimination. Hence, to eradicate any barriers that minority parents face. Ashok Jain, a renowned North Carolina pediatrician, founded KidzCare to create a joyful and inclusive haven where every child is cherished, regardless of background.
That formed the genesis for KidzCare. The idea was to emerge as a consultative clinic that prioritizes open dialogue for parents. We and our experienced healthcare experts welcome every child, regardless of where they come from, and look to become the go-to choice for equitable, affordable, and accessible pediatric care.

Our Carelink, staffed by professional nurses, is ready to assist with every query and concern, strictly abiding by the pediatric protocols. The team will help connect you to a doctor if needed. We encourage parents to check our website for information about their child’s illness/symptoms before calling the doctor.
At Kidzcare, we schedule appointments on a first-come, first-served basis, making every effort to accommodate your preferred time. But we also provide flexibility in case you are running more than 15 minutes late, offering alternative slots. In the rare event of any unforeseen delay on our end, we promise to inform
you in advance, giving you the option to reschedule if available.
Note: In case of any dire emergency with other patients, we may request that you reschedule your appointment to a later date.
Every effort that we make is for the little superheroes who have the capacity to change the world. We ensure every sick child gets an appointment at the earliest possible slot. Please call our office ahead of your visit in case there are any procedural delays.
Note: In the event of any medical emergency during office hours, we will see to it that your child is immediately referred to the appropriate facility.
We make sure that no one is left disappointed. Patients with non-emergency conditions who ‘walk in’ are generally accommodated in the existing schedule, and in case the schedule is full, they are given the earliest possible slot.
Note: This does not apply to well child visits, as they are scheduled appointments only.
We encourage parents to give our office a call for instructions related to minor emergencies (lacerations, cuts, mild fractures, sprains).
In cases of severe emergencies, please call 911.
Note: Severe emergencies are considered to be those conditions that are life-threatening: for example, loss of consciousness, severe bleeding, seizure, etc.
Regular checkups always help your children be healthy and happy. At Kidzcare, we recommend that you call in advance to select a schedule that best fits your child’s complete well being.
Note: This list is our recommended schedule for Well Child Visits: 1 week, 2 Weeks, 1 month, 2 Months, 4 Months, 6 Months, 9 Months, 12 Months, 15 Months, 18 Months, 30 Months, 2 – 18 Years every year for immunizations and well visits.
Any routine call backs, prescriptions, or documents left for the healthcare professionals to complete, refill, or return can possibly take up to 72 hours.
We welcome insurance plans and have fostered relationships with a wide range of health insurance companies. We have preferred provider status with Medicaid, Tricare Prime, Tricare Standard, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and various other insurance providers. Kindly ensure that you bring your insurance card with you
during your visit. At KidzCare’s check-in process, you will only be required to pay the co-pay at the time of your visit. However, if we are not contracted with your insurance provider, if you are uninsured, or if we do not file claims with your insurance company, the full payment will be due at the time of service.
