Dr. Genevieve Faison-Alston, hailing from the rural town of Kenansville, North Carolina, has always held a deep-seated desire to make a difference through the field of medicine. Her journey in healthcare commenced with a prestigious academic scholarship to Fayetteville State University, where she excelled and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with honors.

Her pursuit of medical knowledge led her to the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC, where she obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree. Dr. Faison-Alston then returned to North Carolina, her home state, to complete her pediatrics residency at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. She has been board certified in pediatrics since 2000 and has dedicated her expertise to community pediatrics in Anson and Wake counties.

In January 2020, Dr. Faison-Alston joined KidzCare Pediatrics, where she continues her passion for fostering enduring relationships with her young patients and their families. She eagerly anticipates further strengthening these bonds in the warm and caring environment of KidzCare Pediatrics.

When she’s not caring for her patients, Dr. Faison-Alston enjoys indulging her creative side with DIY projects and nurturing her garden. She cherishes quality time with her family, and her two teenagers keep her busy with their involvement in various activities, from softball and track to football and basketball.
