The wait time for a pediatric office appointment can vary widely based on several factors, including
the urgency of the visit, the availability of the pediatrician, and Kidzcare specific policy. Here are some
General guidelines:
1. Routine Check-Ups: For well-child visits or routine check-ups, you might need to
schedule several weeks to a few months in advance, especially for popular pediatricians.
2. Sick Visits: Kidzcare Pediatric have availability for same-day or next-day appointments
for sick children. It’s best to call early in the day to secure these spots.
3. New Patients: If you are a new patient, it might take longer to get an appointment
compared to established patients but generally we can accommodate new sick patients on the same day and routine checks-ups within a couple of weeks.
To get the most accurate estimate, it’s best to contact the Kidzcare in your location directly and inquire about their current wait times for the type of appointment you need.

Ensuring that your child’s pediatrician is informed about an upcoming visit is important for a smooth and effective appointment. Here are some steps you can take to confirm this:
1. Appointment Confirmation: One day before your child’s appointment, your Kidzcare location will call or text to confirm the date and time of your appointment. This will allow you to ensure that any necessary paperwork is brought in or completed before the visit.
2. Share Relevant Information: If your child has seen another healthcare provider recently or had any tests done, inform the pediatrician’s office and ensure they have access to those
records.
3. Update Medical History: Provide any updates on your child’s medical history, including new medications, allergies, or changes in health status.
4. Prepare Questions and Concerns: Write down any questions or concerns you want to discuss with the pediatrician. This helps ensure that all your points are addressed during the visit.
If you follow these steps, you can be more confident that your child’s pediatrician is informed and
prepared for the visit.
