She completed her pediatric residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and is board-certified in pediatrics with over 25 years of experience. She focuses on caring for children with special needs, immigrant families, and infectious disease.

Dr. Jennifer D. Egnel earned her Bachelor’s degree from Franklin and Marshall College and her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean. She completed her pediatric residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and has been board-certified in pediatrics since 2003.
She has over 25 years of experience caring for children and specializes in treating special needs patients, immigrant families, and infectious diseases. Dr. Egnel is passionate about preventive care, education, and supporting families in building healthy lifestyles.
She practices in Charlotte and enjoys caring for children from birth through young adulthood. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, yoga, and spending time in the mountains with her husband, two adult daughters, and their pets.
