Dr. Nicholas A. Jernigan, MD, FAAP, is board-certified in pediatrics with over 15 years of experience. He completed training at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine and Baylor College of Medicine, with additional training in internal medicine and pediatrics.
He has a special interest in children with special healthcare needs and previously led a nationally recognized clinic in this area. Dr. Jernigan is also passionate about medical education and has received multiple teaching awards through his work with the UNC School of Medicine.
Based in Hampstead, NC, he is dedicated to providing high-quality care for all children. He enjoys fishing, music, building LEGOs, volunteering at his church, and spending time with his wife, two sons, and their golden retrievers.
