He specializes in caring for medically complex children and adults, including those with conditions such as cerebral palsy, sickle cell disease, cancer, and cystic fibrosis. He is passionate about smooth transitions from pediatric to adult care and addressing social and economic factors that impact health.
Dr. Neiheisel lives in Sylva, NC with his family, including his two children and several pets. He is active in the community through volunteer medical work and school involvement and enjoys hiking, camping, soccer, teaching, and hosting neighborhood cookouts.
